I was introduced to the art of cooking by my Amma (mother) and Bappama (grandmother) who cooked mostly Konkani food. My late grandmother loved trying out new recipes from Women’s Era and I would be treated to a new dish very often. My blog is a sacred place where I try to conjure new recipes or put down existing ones. This space also helps me to list tried and tested recipes- from fellow bloggers, friends, relatives, neighbors and others. It also answers the "What to cook today?" question which I guess stares daily at everyone's face who cooks at home
