Little India was first established in February of 1999 by Nish Mukerjee who has had extensive Experience working in many Indian restaurants around Europe, UK and Ireland. He has taken the best and combined this with his own unique style of cooking to create a range of the most delicious Indian Specialties, and of course all the old favorites! This culinary experience combined with the elegant and plush surroundings lends itself to a truly wonderful dining experience whether a romantic meal for two or a large party booking. It's the perfect place to come if you're looking for delicious food, ambience and friendly staff.Little India has further broadened its culinary diversity by bringing in an experienced chef Mr. Manish Sarna Manish Sarna originally from The "Taj Mahal" City of Agra where he did his bachelor of Commerce and then went on to graduate in Hotel School from the Institute of Hotel Management of Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in the software capital of India, Bangalore.Manish's influences came from working in the Convention center Jaypee Palace, Agra, and the Marriot Resort Hotel in Goa. He then went on to head the Indian Kitchen of the Radisson Hotel in Goa and was Head Chef of the Indian Kitchen of The Intercontinental Hotel, Marine Drive in Mumbai. It wasn't long before a desire to explore and travel found him in Switzerland, working as a sous chef in Khans Restaurant, belonging to a leading restaurant chain of Zurich that is Kramer Gastronomic. In February of 2006, Manish joined Little India and has managed to make the menu his own. The dishes offered truly represent his unique skills and experience, offering the diner an unforgettable gastronomic journey
