All the four cuisines have lot many things in common; however, they differ in varieties and terms of the spice content in their food preparations.South Indian cuisine is distinguished by a greater emphasis on rice as the staple grain. The cuisine of South India is well known for its light, low calorie appetizing dishes. The cuisine is famous for its wonderful mixing of rice and lentils to prepare dosa, vada, idli, uttapam, poori, bonda and bajji, which are typical South Indian favorites. These favorites are generally consumed as breakfast. South Indian dishes are not just delicious, but also very easily digestible.South Indian chutneys, to go along with appetizers, are well liked by people. The main ingredients for preparing varied chutneys are coconut, dry grams, peanuts, friend grams, tamarind, fenugreek seeds, and cilantro. Sambhar, an soupy and spicy gravy, is like a must in the main course. It is usually a companion to most of the food items along with idli, vada or dosa. South Indians are real experts in rice preparations. Ahar menu includes preparations of rice which includes coconut rice, carrot rice and fried rice made by using coconut, curry leaves, urad dal, tamarind, peanuts, chilies, and fenugreek seeds.Unlike South, most of North India is a variety of lentils, vegetables, and roti (wheat based Indian bread). North Indian cuisine is distinguished by the use of dairy products; such as milk, paneer, ghee (clarified butter), and yoghurt (yoghurt) are all common ingredients. Gravies are typically dairy-based. North Indian cooking features the use of the "tawa" (griddle) for baking flat breads like roti and paratha, and "tandoor" (a large and cylindrical coal-fired oven) for baking breads such as naan, and kulcha; main courses like tandoori chicken also cook in the tandoor. Other breads like puri and bhatoora, which are deep fried in oil, are also common. Goat and lamb meats are favored ingredients of many northern Indian recipes. Our aim is to provide authentic and hygienic Indian cuisine to our customers at reasonable rates. At Ahar, we strive for prompt, efficient and courteous service to our customers.

Worst food served in 60 degrees ambient temperature.I have never seen a service so bad. For some reason the waiter brought one dosa every half hour.
So if you want to catch Pneumonia while eating the worst food go there.
