Good Food. OK Service
We tried Anjappa TX about a month after they opened in Jan 2010. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a simple nice decor, which I think is from the previous restaurant. It was not very crowded.

They had a lunch buffet and it was just sufficient in my mind. I am not a fan of the mega buffets so I did not mind a small buffet. They had a good mix of veg and non-veg and also had a good biryani. The food was actually tasty and we walked away quite satisfied with the food.

The service was friendly and not lacking but the place was not crowded so the manager was able to handle everything. I suspect if there is a large crowd he will struggle. They need to get more staff.

The strip mall where this is (on the corner of 183 and Macarthur) has plenty of parking and no issues.

Overall, I would say give it a tray and see how you like it and judge for yourself.

Authentic Chettinaud Taste
The best chettinad experience I had in Texas. Tamil songs playing in the background reminds me of my hometown. Spicy collection of a variety of chettinaud dishes. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone who miss the taste of chettinaud. I'll give five stars or more if I could.
