Soya Palak Bahar

Soya chunk 100 gm
Spinach 1 kg
Butter 10 gm
Bay leaf 1
Onion chopped 120 gm
Ginger chopped 10 gm
Garlic chopped 10 gm
Red chilli powder 10 gm
Coriander powder 10 gm
Turmeric powder 5 gm
Salt to taste

Methods/steps

  1. Soak soya chunks in luke warm water for about 15 mins.
  2. Squeeze to remove water and then wash the spinach and then chop finely.
  3. Heat butter in a kadai, add bayleaf and chopped ginger and garlic and cook for a while and then add red chillie powder and cook for 2-3 mins.
  4. Add chopped spinach and soya chunks.
  5. Adjust salt and continue cooking till done.
  6. Serve hot.
