Nice decor, good food
I have dined here twice since it opened, once at the lunch buffet and once for dinner. The buffet was very good, and had about 6-8 main dishes to choose from, plus naan and another "cold" buffet with some desserts and salad type things. It was a little pricey, but overall very good. The service was also excellent, we could barely drink 1/4 of our drinks before someone would come and refill them.

The dinner was also good, but expensive. All 4 of us ordered entrees "thali" and got so much food we could have fed 4 more people easily.

The decor is much nicer than some of the other indian restaurants in town, but you pay for that with slightly pricier food.

not happy with the food and service
Tired this place, but didn't enjoy the food at all, it was like trying something from the food book. Things were pretty cold, and service was not good to put the tip. I heard this same complain from my other co-workers.
Sorry to say, If our mood gets upset everything become worse. We went there and thought we made the wrong decision.

Pasand- good food - very nice authentic family restaurant
We are new to the town and want to taste different ethnic restaurants and came to Pasand Indian Cuisine. We liked the atmosphere inside. We liked the service. The waiting staff are friendly and knowledge about the food. The food was excellent. And we give 5 out of 5. we are planning to visit one more time.

Pasand - Cold Food, Inauthentic Preparation, Poor Service
I have dined at this restaurant twice since it opened. My first experience was not very pleasant; however, I wanted to give the restaurant a chance as they had just opened, had new management, and were trying to get their bearings. The second experience (3 weeks later) wasn't any better. The wait staff was not very familiar with the menu (forgivable, as she did rush back to the kitchen to get answers to my questions). What I found inexcusable was the fact that my entree was LUKEWARM and the nan bread was COLD. The food was reheated for me (ugh) after I pointed this out. Also, the entree (North-Indian) did not taste anything like it was supposed to. I recommend the chef invest in some North-Indian cookbooks. Another thing that bothered me was that the owner was chatting (loudly) with someone at the table next to mine, and offered him a 10% discount so he would return to the restaurant. While not an uncommon practice, I suggest the next time he extends discounts, he do it discreetly, so customers like me don't feel left out. They don't accept AMEX, or give you any kind or plastic-ware if you're doing takeout. I will not be visiting Pasand again, which is sad because I really liked Sizzling India.
